Female Heroes & Villains Yarn and Fiber Club

We send out 6 shipments per year, one every other month of club exclusive yarn (or fiber) inspired by female heroes and villains of literature, film, television, comic books, and real life women. We try to stay away from politics, but at STK we believe Black Lives Matter, no human is illegal, equality is for everyone, and feminism is intersectional.
You can sign up for different weight yarn, or fiber memberships, we'll choose the specific base for each colorway, or choose Plot Twist and we’ll choose the yarn weight for you (no fiber). Each year will include at least one of each weight yarn, usually more fingering weight. I try to let the base match the colorway.
You are welcome to make special requests as well. We have accommodated requests for certain fiber allergies and "no lace" in the past, for example. Our club started in January 2018

Club Membership Types
Lace memberships will include 100g of laceweight yarn each cycle.
Fingering-Sport memberships will include 100g of Fingering or Sport weight yarn each cycle.
DK-Worsted memberships will include 100g of DK to Aran weight yarn each cycle.
Plot Twist memberships will include any of the yarn bases each month, it will be a surprise. The year includes each weight of yarn.
Fiber memberships will include 4-5 oz of wool or wool blend fiber, or 2-3 ounces of luxury fiber.
Sidekick is a second skein of the same yarn or lot of fiber with a savings.
Colors will remain exclusive to club members for one full year, after which we may release them publicly (but no guarantees!)

Details
Club subscriptions are 6 payments per year, one every other month, and payment dates will depend on the date you sign up. Packages will be shipped between the 15th and the end of the month in January, March, May, July, September, and November. You will have the opportunity to re-order each club color on any base yarn you like, to ship with the next shipment.
Memberships have rolling sign ups, so whenever you sign up you will continue to get shipments every other month until you cancel.
Sheepy Time Knits has a long history of shipping club yarns out.
Sheepy Time Knits has had fandom clubs since 2012, beginning with Time Travelers, then Middle Earth, and now Female Heroes, since January 2018.
Speshul Snowflakes Club (which runs on alternate months) has shipped every other month since 2009
