This simple lace pattern becomes striking when carefully worked in a regular repeat to allow the colors to stack up or "pool." This allows knitting lace with high contrast hand dyed yarn without the color pattern obscuring the lace pattern.
Yarn: Any hand painted yarn with a repeating colorway. Samples worked in Sheepy Time Knits: Yarn That Shall Not Be Named, Tequila Sunrise, 330yds/100g; Sheepy Time Knits All Your Base, Lime in the Coconut, 490yd/100g; and 2 skeins of Big Feet, Blue Hawaiian, 220yds/100g.
Needles: Any size that works with your yarn. Samples worked on size 7 US (4.5mm) needles.
Finished Measurements: Will vary depending on skein length and blocking. Samples shown are: Tequila Sunrise- 10" x 72"; Blue Hawaiian- 10" x 68"; Lime in the Coconut- 9" x 102".
